    THIS IS WAY TOO LONG FOR A BOOK. I'm an avid reader. I have to s

    I'm an avid reader. I have to say in reading these books it is such a task, just to get thru the next page.
     I'm on this book now and it has taken me almost six months to read it.
     just because it takes him 5 years to write these books, it shouldn't take the readers this long to digest what
    he's trying to pertray. Unless you are an Historical student, the text in these books are a bit hard to digest.
     Even the Bible is written in layman's term, why make it so difficult. It appears to me, the author just babbles.
    Take it from me don't bother, just watch the HBO series, which has verred from the books anyway.
     You're reading a storyline that no longer exist on the show.
     I have purchased book 4 & 5, they are going in a trunk to be given to a book store and/or cosignment shop.
     In the times it has taken me to read these books. I could have cleaned my book shelf out. Good bye Game of thornes.
