A tenderhearted woman and a griuch of a man. I really didn't like Abram at first. He seemed to assume that Fern was throwing herself at him when she was just being her caring self. Granted, she did like him a lot, but she kept it hidden because she felt no man could love her because of her weight. Through a lot of twists and turns: babies being born, sibling mishaps, and a wise grandmother, things work to bring Abram and Fern together. Great story! Was this review helpful?
