a wonderful story for parents of a child with autism.
A great book about the life of and struggles of a mother raising her daughter(Temple)who has autism. The thinking during the 1950s was to put children with autism away in some hospital. Temple's mother fought long and hard to keep her in schools and eventually college.Yes Temple still has autism, but Today Temple holds a PhD in Animal Science and speaks around the world on the topic of autism.
