    Moonchaser

The shecat snarls at the fox and lashes out a final blow over the mothers head. She looks after Tinykit. "You fight like a fox." A voice behind her says. She turns and looks at the mother fox. "What?" She mews.
"You fight like a fox." The mother repeats softly. She grooms her injuries and covers them with cobwebs.
"Thanks...wait, how can I understand you? And how do you understand me?" Moonchaser asks.
"You speak unlike other cats. You could have canine blood. You could be a shifter. You could be a Chosen. But how am I to know? I follow the Sky Pack, like the wolves and dogs. They will hear you too. You can hear canines. And they hear you. The Sky Pack has chosen you, Chaser. I am Wind. Or Autumn Winds. You are destined for greatness. Listen to the song. It will tell you what must be." The fox says. "And you must make me a promise. Listen to dogs, wolves, foxes, any canine you meet. We have stories too. In exchange, my pups and my mate will come with me to the DarkPacks land. We have a den there. Its far from here."
    "I promise." Moonchaser murmurs.
"Good. May we meet again, Chaser. And may the Moon and Sun light your way." Wind says. She and her mate gather their pups. They vanish into the woods. Moonchaser looks after them. "The Sky Pack...Im a Chosen...whats that?" She breathes.
