    more from this reviewer

    I recommend the whole series!

Jesse is a wonderfully complex character. A reluctant mortal hero who is trying to balance the needs of his family and the needs of a world that can't seem to survive without him. I was drawn from page to page and chapter to chapter by believably real life characters.

    Love this series!

Not sure if it's possible to love each one more than the last...
I loved the change of setting & of course, all the characters. Can't wait for #4.

    Awesome

This series gets better and better. Urban fantasy with demons, magic, lots of suspense and action--who could ask for more? Jesse is a kickass demon hunter with a blessed sword and armour tio boot. In this story Jesse is paying back a "favor" he owes Axel the demon. This turns out to be quite the favor. He has to protect an actress who has traded her soul but has also collected many, many more. Needless to say, she has other demon after her who want the power of those souls she has collected. Jesse has his hands full but is assisted by two bodyguards. I have a feeling we will be seeing at least one of those bodyguards in future stories. Just another great adventure in this series. I look forward to many more--hint, hint.
