    Excellent book!

    I was given this book late in my pregnancy. There is a chapter dedicated to pregnancy and 'safe' positions. My body responded immediately in a very positive manner. I noticed the muscle tone in my upper body increased and the swelling of my pregnant body decreased. I began to crave the peace and calmness doing the movements brought me at the end of long day. I am eager to try other positions after my pregnancy. I love this book because it doesn't require any block, poles, etc to preform the movements. It's just you - which means you can do it anytime, anywhere. Enjoy!

    I have become a believer!

    I was cruising this site for another book and I felt I just had to put my two cents in about this book. It has had the most wonderful effect on me. My girlfriend had been working with this book for several months and got tired of waiting for me to buy a copy-So she bought me one for my birthday. Despite my initial reservations, I've become totally hooked on it! I have been practicing various postures and breathing exercises for a couple of months now and my energy level is off the charts! I actually thought I might have to cut down a bit. Also my ability to concentrate (which has never been that great)has definately been kicked up a notch and one nagging health problem( I won't go into it) has without a question been giving me less problems. Believe me, no one is more surprised about this then me. In a nutshell, the book addresses women's health from a Western Doctors' and Kundalini Yoga teacher's perspective. In my opinion, they complement each other wonderfully. Since, I have a science background, I found Dr. Seibel's explanations really helped me put the Yogic concepts into a form that made sense to me. I wasn't very familiar with the spiritual part of Kundalini, but I find it quite fascinating and much of it seems to resonate for me. The book is very detailed for people more familiar with Kundalini than myself, but easily allows the beginner to jump in and start learning the practice. Definately give it a try. Hope this helps.
