changed my life
I originally bought this book for the purpose of understanding and helping my son with his ADD....little did I know that it would be ME that this book would ultimately benefit. When I read the descriptions and anecdotes of persons with ADD (in different forms than my son's), it was obvious that, after all these years of feeling like a misfit, ADD has been at the root of it. I almost cried reading the accounts of people who were so much like me...I always felt so alone. Contrary to popular belief, ADD can be at the heart of the most quiet, creative people...not just those with obvious distractibility. Most importantly, Dr. Weiss stresses throughout the book how living with ADD can be a blessing (rather than the burden society deems it), and how the ADD individual's perspective in life can be a unique gift. Far from making Attention Deficit Disorder into a curse, this book seeks to enhance the life of anyone with ADD. I only wish that everyone with ADD (both diagnosed and undiagnosed) could read this book.....and see themselves in a bright, new light.

Powerful And Liberating Read - Productive Referance
I experienced many revelations from this book. Dr. Weiss demonstrates an ability to share crystal clear insights with a dynamic choice of words. The truth and compassion gracefully expressed in this book led me to an improved self-understanding and acceptance. I would now say that (adult onset) ADD is an additional gift to the creatively inclined. I hope that everyone whose life is in any way touched by ADD, reads this important work. I believe many will realize a richer freedom and inspiration toward life and work, and perhaps most importantly, play. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
