As a former member of VMA311, I served in the Kuwaiti Theatre of Operation with many of the brave men depicted in this book. This book including photos of the men and machines are testiments of Marine Corps fire power as I recall living it and breathing it.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I personally sent the message out that would eventually notify Captain ("Raz") Berryman's wife that he was MIA. As this book discribes, everyone in the squadron felt and held personally the loss of an aircraft and Squadron member who's fait was unknow until after the war was over. It brought a since of reality and that shoulder fired missles were a real threat.
Hat's off to Lon Nordeen for bringing our adventure in history to life for all to live.
