as a crowd pleaser:probably the best.

real music freaks over the decades could be caught talking about that"abbey road"sound.fragments dating from the white album fleshed out into the amazing medley on side two{see:beatles anthology vol 3}for a twelve year old in 1969 it was aural utopia. yes,led zeppelin 2 was considered cooler at the time, but come on. sound quality was always good for this recording, but the remaster is sharper and even clearer.there is only one come together-as in never duplicated.Kudos to george martin as the real 5th beatle-and to his son as the re-master-er!the remaster is packed with photos from the period-sorely lacking in the origional.I wonder if all four beatles were in the studio at the same time for this recording.anyway, give 'em yer money!

    A Must!

This is the album that made me into a die-hard Beatles fan in 1983! The sound quality goes beyond 1969 and indeed was a statement of their greatness on the verge of breakup!

    Back to the Future Beatles

Wow! Abbey Road was my favorite Beatles recording and I suspect I listened to it at least 100 times since 1969. (On vinal LP.)

Today, I put the remastered CD into the player and I simply couldn't believe my ears. It's as if the Beatles recorded this just 2 weeks ago. Super clean, crisp, fresh, articulate, you just wouldn't believe it was from the original DNA.

It was like listening to Abbey Road for the first time - again!

Clean yet true remaster of the original

Tracks were clean yet still true to the original. Not over engineered but done well.

Extra computer content did not work on my Macintosh -used older technology that did not work with Snow leopard on my Macintosh.

    Maybe the best Beatles album?

It was supposedly put together with "left over" Beatles songs, but when listening to Abbey Road it is difficult to believe. There is a flow to the songs on this album/cd that has been duplicated only on that rare occasion when an artist has labored long and hard to do so. Add to the music the world's speculation on the symbolism of Paul's bare feet on the album cover and you've got a once-in-a-lifetime event! This is a fine example of the music The Beatles were capable of producing, and you'll find your appreciation for their individual and collective genius with each listening.
