    Great Idea, but a Little Confusing

    The idea of detective stories set the past is great: Brother Cadfael, for example. Jeck's has developed a terrific location and has introduced us to wonderful characters, but his descriptions of the murder and various plot lines and the host of minor characters gets a little lost and confusing.
