I read this a few years ago in middle school - I was at the time

I read this a few years ago in middle school - I was at the time raiding the shelves, reading every science fiction I could.  This book was one of the best that I had read my 8th grade year.  I'll only read a good book, and this is definitely one of them.  It captivates the mind, no pun intended.  Rodman Philbrick and Lynn Harnett used the perfect amount of descriptions to captivate the senses.  I was actually able to see, hear, feel, and smell everything that was going on in the text.  5 stars.

Best fiction book i have read !!!

ABDUCTION <BR/>I read the book Abduction by Rodman Philbrick and Lynn Harnett. I thought the book was interesting and was great to read. The further and further I read, it got better and kept my interest. I liked it because it was about the supernatural and it was a fiction book. I think people that are into fiction would enjoy the book. I feel that the book is a fast read even though it has 42 chapters and its 312 pages because the reading isn¿t difficult. The story consist of two main characters Mandy Durgin and Luke Ingram. Mindy everyday wakes up with a blank mind but yet still has some remembrance of weird things. Luke also has the same happening to him and they both have to save the earth. As the story builds up it will keep your attention and you will enjoy it.

    Abduction, A great book

How would you like it if every night from 10:00pm until 2:00am you had absolutly no idea where you were? and you woke up in the middle of nowhere with total memory blackout? Well thats exactly what is happening to Mandy Durkin and Luke Ingram. They can't remember where they spend their nights, so Luke is completly convinced thats him and Mandy are being abducted by aliens!! but Mandy totaly disagrees! she thinks that there has to be a logical explaination for their disappearances. So Mandy and Luke hide out in some bushes where they woke up the night before, so that they can videotape what they see and expose the aliens and then qll of a sudden out of nowhere they see the ship! So now Mandy and Luke are now convinced, so they head out to try and defeat the aliens before its too late, and those creatures take over the earth! I would recommend this book to all my friends!! and i think its a good book for any one from the ages 12 to adult. Everyone can enjoy this great science-fiction book! and to find out what happened to Mandy, Luke and the aliens i highly suggest you read this book!!! Its GREAT!!

If you want a great book here is one.

I may only be 13 but i know a really good book when I get one. I am one that doesn't like to sit and read a book but this one caught my attention because of the authors and the display on the cover. I have read the Visitors books by these authors and I read all 3 books in less than a week. Abduction is a wonderful book that will get your attention right away. What got me thinking in this book was what is going to happen next or what happend in the 4 hours lost of their lives. Another big question was what are these people/aliens doing, but if you really want to know what happens I would read the book.

How Would You Like to be Abducted?

How would you feel if every night you disappear at 10:00 and come back at 2:00 in the morning? That is what happened to Luke and Mandy in this book. I was hooked on this book. I suggest it to all of you. This was one of the greatest thriller books I have ever read.
