Lucy Valentine knows she is the odd duck in her family as everyone else has the ability to play Cupid matching people up. Her talent is to find lost things. Lucy's current task is to locate a man who may be near death if he even still lives and to find a former criminal for a client of her family's firm Lost Loves.
Lucy and her private investigator boyfriend Sean Donahue work on both cases. However, their efforts are turned complicated by the masked Lone Ranger who at the Commons throws money into the air before vanishing. As Lucy and Sean conduct inquiries, she has an attraction to the masked hombre until she suffers a horrifying vision of her boyfriend lying lifeless on the street.
No one will care that the third Valentine tale is similar in tone to Truly, Madly and Deeply but, Kemo Sabe brings freshness to the mix. Though over the Green Monster yet filled with quirky family humor and a touch of the paranormal readers will Absolutely, Positively find Lucy's latest bodacious Boston brouhaha desperately zany yet truly scrumptious.

Review: Absolutely, Positively
I hate it when I can't think of a good reason when I've let a book I know I will enjoy sitting on my shelf for so long. Especially when it's a series book that I have enjoyed. Such is the case with Absolutely, Positively. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
Thankfully, I was able to dive right into this book and be reminded about the characters I love. Lucy is so great when she's faced with the being in love. It's not something she's comfortable or familiar with. Her family is cursed after all. I love that Sean takes it all in stride and seems to know exactly when Lucy needs more and when she doesn't. Even their animals seem to be so in tune to each other. You would think that this perfect scenario might get cheesy, but it's doesn't.
I also really enjoyed the dash of mystery thrown into each story. Lucy used her abilities to help those around her. I liked how the two mysteries she solves seem to vastly different. I also like how each case seems to get equal attention in the book. Neither is overshadowed by the other. I feel like it's a perfect balance between light romance and mystery.
The only disappointing part of this book....there isn't another one at this time. While I think this book ended on a good note, I would like another one. The characters are still fresh and I think have something more to offer readers. I hope the author comes back to this series soon!

I've read all three of the Lucy Valentine books and have enjoyed every one of them. The books are enjoyable, light and easy to read. Lucy is easy to relate to, and you can't help but get sucked into her all of her adventures. This book is a great one to bring to the pool or beach! Was this review helpful? Better and better!
The third installment of this delightful series did NOT disappoint! Between Lucy Valentine's friends, family, clients, Preston....well, let's just say there's plenty of drama to keep Lucy busy. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. "The Lone Ranger" is still at it, tossing $20 bills around then disappearing. Then Lucy notices her mum is dressing and acting differently, making her wonder what's going on. Add in a missing man her mum and Dovie ask her to find, and a client searching for the boy she loved when she was in the foster care system (whew!) and the game is definitely on!
Soon Lucy encounters an aging rocker, the FBI and a paroled criminal...takes in a dog that's lost his master...and deals with her continued doubt about her relationship with Sean due to Cupid's Curse. Yep...PLENTY of drama!
All the familiar characters are there, although some not as prominently as in the first two books. We learn more about several of them as relationships change & progress.
Now...I have to wait for Book 4 and HOPE HOPE HOPE there will be more in this series!

Warning - You'll love this book!
I stumbled upon this series and was instantly smitten. In fact I couldn't wait for book #3 to come out so I could snap it up instantly. If you love witty, quirky, engaging characters and writers who ladle in some mystery -- you will love this series. Although Webber creates unique and fun characters and stories, I can't help but liken her style to Janet Evanovich and Misty Simon. If you haven't read book #1 and #2, don't worry, Webber has seamlessly integrated backstory so you won't be lost. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Love the series!
This book is beautiful. We get caught up with my favorite characters - Dovie, Lucy, Sean, etc. But we meet a few new characters that add to the story. I liked how Heather added more on Sean and his heart. I work on the type of pacemaker Sean has, so to me it adds to the story. I have enjoyed this entire series. I am looking forward to more books from Heather Webber. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I read the first two in the series and could not wait for this one! I was not disappointed. Webber captures a perfect mix of mystery, romance and friendship. The characters are so easy to relate to and you learn enough to be satisfied but know there is still so much depth to be uncovered. I am just sad I will have to wait for more of them to be written. Hurry Heather, your fans are waiting!!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Absolutely, Positively Amazing
Who is that masked man? That's the question on everyone's mind around Boston Common when a mysterious stranger, dubbed The Lone Ranger, starts throwing twenty-dollar bills around. And what, if anything, does he have to do with everything else going on in Lucy's life? A life that has left Lucy with a lot on her plate these days. She has Meaghan, the new client, who is looking for her foster brother, Tristan, convinced that he is the one true love of her life. Unfortunately it's been years since she's seen him and wouldn't even know what direction to send Lucy in. When she finds out what he's been up, to will Meaghan still think he's her knight in shining armor? Next is Mac Gladstone, an old friend of Dovie's who has gone missing. Mac went out to walk his beloved dog Rufus one day and never came back, even though Rufus did. Anyone who knew Mac knows he would never just leave his dog behind. Was he the victim of foul play or something more heartbreaking? Preston is right there, front and center, as usual. She has done an excellent job of worming her way into the Valentine family. Will they be able to keep their big secret from her, or will she use her journalistic skills to figure out the real reason for the Valentine's immense success? And just what does the FBI want Lucy to stay out of?????Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
Since this is all about matchmaking and finding lost loves, let's not forget about all of the love in the air these days. There is no doubt Lucy loves Sean and wants to spend the rest of her life with him. She knows that he is holding things back from her, and on some level it bothers her (considering he knows ALL of the Valentine's secrets), but she loves him enough to wait until he's ready to let her in. Unfortunately she can't let go of the dreaded Cupid's Curse; no Valentine has every found true, everlasting love. Can she break the Curse once and for all? Can true love conquer all? Then we've got Lucy's parents. When you find out who they're dating, well, you'll just plutz! Raphael is moving in with Maggie - YAY, but who will take care of Lucy's dad now? Next is Aiden (friendly state trooper) and Em (BFF). Everyone knows they are made for each other, except the two of them. C'mon people, let's get together now. Finally we have Lucy's new-found brother Cutter. He's such the ladies man that he has not one, but two women lusting after him - Marisol and Preston. Which one will he choose?
Seriously, what's not to love about Lucy and this series? She has psychic abilities, is whimsical, smart, beautiful, and head-over-heels in love with the scrumptious PI, Sean Donahue. This series has the perfect mix of cozy mystery elements - it's a fun read, stars a woman as an amateur sleuth, her significant other has his hands in law enforcement, it is light on the gore, it focuses on the characters and plot, and is filled with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing page after page. The book can certainly be read as a stand-alone book, but in order to fully understand Lucy and her quirky cast of characters, you should read the first two books in the series, Truly, Madly and Deeply, Desperately. You Absolutely, Positively do not want to miss this book.
