Over the last year I have read nearly a dozen wrestling books. A friend and co-worker had suggested Hitman by Bret Hart. Starting without I became facinated with the incite he was able to provide into the wrestling industry. Since then I have also read HBK's, Hogans, Foleys, both of Jericho's, and other miscellaneous books seeking more views on the industry.

Without question, I can say this is near the top of the list. Adam Copeland, not Edge, scribes one of the most genuine and entertaining autobiographies I have ever read. The book and story are both very real and Copeland describes these tails as himself, and not the character he plays on TV.

This makes for a very easy read. The only complaint I can provide on this book is that it is fairly short. At then end I definitely wanted to keep reading.

This book focuses on his career up until 2003. He breifly discusses his return in 2004, but now that he is retired I truly hope he finds the time for a follow up. I'd recommend this book to any wrestling fan regardless of how you feel about his character. Thank you Adam.Show Less

My review on 'Adam Copeland On Edge'

I thought he did a great job as far as writing about his career, but I think he could've given his book more depth if he had talked more about his personal life for example, his marriage to Alana. He didn't even go into it. Writing a book on one's life also means talkin...Read More

    Up Against the Ropes

I had a great time with this book! Adam Copeland is not the man I had previously expected him to be. On WWE, Edge is depicted as a womanising, arrogant, self-centred goose, but what I came to learn is that he isn't at all arrogant or self-centred.

    Adam Copeland on Edge

I have read this book twice, and each time it gets better. Maybe if I wait another month or so and read it again, it would be even better and get a highter rating. I really enjoyed the book though. It was interesting to hear his input on some of the Ladder matches that he and Christian had with the Hardy Boyz. But I also think that he should have waited for write a book. He's so young, and has so many more years in wrestling ahead of him. Another reason he should have waited was to maybe give his input on the Edge/Amy/Matt love triangle. I would have loved to hear not only Matt's version of the story but also his version. But I would definatly suggest reading this book if you are a fan of either Edge as a wrestler, or wrestling in general.

    I enjoy this book

I loved this book.It told me everything I needed to know about Adam Copeland.I didn't know that he and Christian were childhood friends.I didn't know that he could write so good for a guy who seems like he is angry all of the time.I loved this amazing book!Adam Copeland is very astute!

    Its worthy of reading

The book was cool, but i still belived that he should have waited a while because more intersting stuff has happened to him scince his return to the ring. It would have been cool to have him write about that stuff as well, and talk about how he became the wwe champion for a slit second. Putting all of that aside he has some good stories and a really tough life, and man how could he take all those injuries. about 2 weeks after it was released i bought this book and took it to my school and was showing off to everyone so i helped him promote this book for a little while, be that as if made, go to the store and buy it! or edge will spear you

    good but....

Good book i enjoyed it but i think this was written too soon. I think adam copeland should have waited to later in his career to write a book. That is what separates this book from the books by ric flair and harley race. Experience.
