    Good sports story

I would encourage parents to read this book, I think the author does a good job on his evaluation of both officals and athletes parents. I wish more high school coaches put the players interests in front of thier own agenda. I found the coaches change in attitude regarding his goals the most fictional part of the book. The shooting drill mentioned is something I plan on trying out, as well as some of the drills. I liked the book.

    Pretty good.

I don't like sports, but I thought this was pretty good for a novel about the sports arena.

    Great read.

This book was a great read. My son played basketball and even in our small town you saw some stuff. Adults and young adults will enjoy this book.

    Who knew?

I must say I never knew some of the stuff that apparently goes on the high school basketball world. While I'm sure there was a bit of creative licensed used in the writing of this book, there surely is a fair amount that is true to life. While I had some difficulties with the dialogue, I loved the characters and the story they told. What a shocking insight into the prep world of basketball in the Chicago area.
