An enlightening, yet frightening read.
Not only was this an excellent book on this country's sordid past, but the ideas in this book have increasing relevance today, relating to the US war on terrorism. The crimes committed by the FBI, and the numerous COINTELPRO operations, have largely been forgotten, yet with the passing of the Patriot Act and various reportings of people being detained after Sept 11, without being charged, this important piece of history needs to remembered. Was this review helpful?
