A very comprehensive book on commercial air travel
I have two of the books written by Dan Poynter, and I love both of them. Dan is very detail-oriented, and this shows in his books. If he decides to write on a subject, you can count on him to do VERY comprehensive research work, and covers EVERYTHING you need to know about it.Was this review helpful? As a writer with over 40 years of experience, and a professional speaker who flies more than 6,000 miles each week, Dan summarizes his travel experience, tips, tricks, secrets, and research in "Air Travel Handbook." It is a very comprehensive book on commercial air travel. It covers everything you need to know on this subject: luggage and packing, tips for you when you are on the plane, health, security and safety, air traffic control, airports, country information, trip planning, borders, events around the world, money, credit cards, exchange rates, fees and taxes, communications, equipment and technology, maps, distance calculator and news, time and time zones, hotels, cars and trains, etc.
"Air Travel Handbook" is an extremely valuable resource for air travelers. It is worthy of every penny you spend on it.
