The "New" Magick Without Tears
Christopher Hyatt and Lon Duquette have done an outstanding job of making magick accessible. Many of the books available today seem to complicate rather than uncomplicate the subject. No so here. There is enough good information for even the novice to be able to set up a magick circle and perform magical evocation. David Wilson's illustrations are great! Contrast this book with Joseph Lisiewski's Ceremonial Magick. If you believe what he says you will either see it as entirely impossible or be scared to death to try it. Read Duquette's My Life With the Spirits and Hyatt and Black's Urban Voodoo. You'll be infinitely more knowledgeable, and you'll have information from real people who have actually practiced magick. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
