A Must Read for All Ages
Alice¿s Adventures in Wonderland Lewis Carroll Fantasy Candlewick publishing Down the rabbit hole you go, as everything keeps getting curioser and curioser. Crazy croquet, mad tea parties, and a disappearing cat. Welcome to the nonsensical, and wild world of Wonderland. Poor Alice. As she sits in a field with her sister, she spots a white rabbit hop by. As Alice persues the rabbit, she falls down a rabbit hole, and arrives in Wonderland. As she explores this bizarre new world, she comes across a french mouse, a Duchess, a crazy cook, a mad tea party, and an evil queen, who is bent on chopping off heads. Join Alice in this wondrous tale. Alice is a curious and naive young girl. She is always having trouble in Wonderland. Since she is lost, and unfamiliar with Wonderland, she doesn¿t fit in. This causes her to stand out like a sore thumb and trouble follows her throughout the story. The queen is quite different. She is a short tempered woman who loves ordering heads to be chopped off. She rules Wonderland and enjoys doing whatever she wants. The cheshire cat is quite different from both Alice and the queen. The cheshire cat is carefree and fun loving. He enjoys teasing people and taking time to stop and smell the flowers. The characters of the story help add the fun to the book. Alice¿s Adventures in Wonderland is a wonderful and exciting book to read. I would recommend it to anyone, and everyone. The book is a good, quick read, and left me laughing at times. The book might be years old, but its still a timeless classic.
