An Avid Reader
Along the same lines as 'Sooner or Later' and 'Now or Never' it's a romance within a mystery. Not the same genre at all as 'Fortune is a Woman' etc... but carries merit all on its own. It keeps you guessing and isn't that what we want in a book?

Definitely an ALL or NOTHING...
Plot is good if a bit atypical and the characters are well developed. It is an ALL or NOTHING story because you will find yourself having to finish the book.

All or Nothing
This is definitely not one of Elizabeth Adler's better writings. After reading Fortune is a Woman, The Rich Shall Inherit, and Leone, I was disappointed in All of Nothing.

Well, *I* loved it!
Laurie Martin, a lovely real estate agent in Laguna, California, had disappeared. Police suspected the man she was supposed to show a house to, Steve Mallard. Steve was a family man. His wife and two daughters were waiting for Steve to find an affordable home (he had a new job and was relocating) before they joined him.

Al Giraud was an ex-cop turned private eye. He had a good reputation and had great connections. Marla Cwitowitz was an attorney trying to turn private eye. She teamed up with Giraud (as partner AND as girlfriend). The two had seen Laurie and Steve together on more than one occasion. It looked like a simple open and shut crime case. But when Steve's wife hired them to prove her husband was innocent, some digging turned up many surprises! And those surprises may cost several people their lives!
*** Elizabeth Adler has written a thrilling mystery piece that will keep her readers guessing! An amazing writer at the prime of her career! Good reading here! *** -
