    Ridiculous!

I was very disappointed with this book. I enjoyed the first few books in this series... but in the last few books (which are very short and cost me a pricy $16!)have just been stupid. I kept reading telling myself it had to get better- but it never did. I feel that I have a moral responsibilty to all potential readers of this book to let them know about how terrible this book is. It became apparent to me in the last two or three 100 page or so books that the author was just trying to make up stupid things for the characters to do so he could keep adding to the series. Everything Darren was doing I was asking myself 'why'? The characters seemed to go out of their way to create difficult situations for themselves so that Shan could add another book to his collection and make himself another million or so on a ridiculously sham of a book! This book is definatly not worth anything close to the $16 bucks it cost! PS: I also think I should mention that this entire series doesn't come close to being scary- or even remotely frightening, unless your 4 years old. So, if your looking for a scare look elsewhere!
