I thought this book was a satisfying read. Maddy is a widowed artist, coming to work as an art director at a summer camp. Coincidentally, the summer camp is run by her old flame, Joe. The story was light and fun, very enjoyable. What I didn't like was the history behind Joe and Maddy. The history behind them was obvious, however, the author left most of it unexplained, in my opinion. She offered tempting glimpses, but I don't think she allowed them to truly conquer their pasts. The ending was a bit abrupt, and forced. It wasn't quite in tune with the rest of the other story. However, I did find this book an overall good read. Light and fun, makes a good afternoon read.

I kept skipping pages to find out what happened to the other three women in the story only to find out the next book will be all romance for christine. Yuk. Do read racing in the rain . Now theres a story.
