Captivating, Quite extrodinary, Richard Aschcroft is a Musical Genius

People questioned Ashcroft's career after going solo. What's to question? The album is one of the best I have ever come across. Mellow, soulful tunes with lyrics that blow my mind. Quite impressive, but not unexpected from a man like Ashcroft. People unfamiliar to Richard Ashcroft and avid Verve fans alike will love this album.

    Perfection, Pure & Simple

I believe Richard has finally broken out of his shell with this album. He experiments with all kinds of sounds, and each song leaves you with a sense of enlightenment as well as anticipation (you just can't wait for the next song.) A must buy for everyone, including Verve fans. Richard Ashcroft has definitely arrived at the threshold of musical

    Don't question Ashcroft

Verve fans wondering how much of the band's electricity really came from Richard Ashcroft will have their questions answered with 'Alone with Everybody.' His solo effort is reminiscent of the mellower melodies on 'Urban Hymns' and does lack some of the swelling, psychedelic guitars of earlier tracks, such as 'She's a Superstar,' but nevertheless, the album is a mesmerizing mix that will rope you in with just one listen. Don't hesitate buying this disc!
