    My Thoughts - 3 out of 5 Unicorns - I liked it!!
*** I received this book in exchange for an honest review (LoP or Lovers of Paranormal)

The cover is awesome, and I loved it!!  Definitely peaked my interest in reading the book.

Okay after reading book 1, I think I got my expectations way up for this series.  I liked this book, but I thought this was going to be a book I loved.  I expected a lot of action from the rogues and stuff to happen, and it just didn’t.

There are the two steamy scenes you are warned about, and they are good :)  But the rest of the story is basically about dating trouble between Rafe and Sara.  They are awesome characters, and I was totally laughing at some great interactions.  I just felt like action was building and nothing, then it was building again and nothing, and finally a half a chapter of awesomeness.  Then it wrapped up.

I think it book 3 can have those conflicts from that awesome half of a chapter throughout the book that J.K. will hit it out of the park.  I will definitely continue reading the series because I have seen authors totally prove me wrong and make it epic.  J.K.’s writing style is awesome :)  Maybe I’m just an idiot who expects too much action in a shifter book…lol but this is just what I want.

If you are into more of the dating/romance side of shifters, then this is for you :)

I received this book for an honest review. LOP
Rafe, alpha to be knows that Sara's his beta, but Sara isn't quite ready to except that. She feels that theirs something about him and that they're meant to be, but what stopping her? She wants to make a big name in the pack for herself, not be known only as alphas mate. When the rouge wolves enter the story again, Black Mesa alpha wolf gives them their new pack. Who's to lead that pack? No other than Rafe. In the past the only way a new pack survives is with a strong alpha and his mate. Does Sara follow her heart or her dreams. Alpha wolf is more lengthy, detailed, action-packed, and i liked it better.  Great job, J.K. Harper cant wait to read the next one.

This is a great story. Rafe has known all of his life that he was being groomed to be an Alpha. He has known for over a year that Sara is his mate. Now he needs to convince her that she is his mate. Sara is a fun loving, playful girl, however, she is ready to show the pack that she is more than that. But she cannot get one man out of her head; Rafe. She is everything she ever wanted in a mate. But she needs to prove to the pack and herself that she is more than an Alpha's mate; that she is a Guardian. She just hopes she does not loose Rafe in the process in her path to self discovery.
