A new Kindle Alexander book is always highly anticipated.  I bought Always as soon as I found it in the catalog.  I am glad I did.  The characters are memorable and easy to want as friends.  The sex is steamy and appropriate to the storyline.  Actually, there is a strong storyline as opposed to many gay erotic books out there.  Was this my favorite Kindle Alexander book to date?  Unfortunately, no.  I found the story and the writing to be a little over-the-top mushy, with the same sentiments repeated over and over again.  The reader sknows Avery and Kane love each other, and it is a beautiful love.  But, we don't need to be hit over the head with it on almost every page.  Parts of the storyline were a little too maudlin for me.  Saying that, would I recommend the book?  Definitely, yes.  Did I shed a tear like the other reviewers have stated?  Definitey, yes.  More than one.  I would read the earlier Kindle Alexander books I have on my nook over again before I would read this one though.

Always is an amazing love story. It is everything I've always be

Always is an amazing love story. It is everything I've always believed soul mates to be.
Avery Adams comes from a family of politicians, even a former president in his family history.  He is set on a path to follow in his grandfathers footsteps.  He moves back to where his family originated, where the Adams name means something. The perfect place to set his future in motion. Until he meets Kane Dalton.
Struck silent by his first sight of Kane, he knows he must know Kane.
Kane Dalton, owner of a very successful restaurant, and very content in his life as it is.  His goal each day is to keep his customers happy and ensure they have a meal to remember each time.  Up till the night Avery is sat at a table, he has succeeded in his goal.  Introducing himself to Avery, he is taken back by the silence that greets him.  Floored not knowing what he has done to offend the Avery Adams he disappears so as to not offend him again that evening. He sends a bouquet of flowers the next day conveying his sincere apologizes.
From there it blossoms to the most amazing, heart wrenching love story you can imagine.  There are struggles, obstacles, but mostly there is love.
I don't want to go into too much detail, as I don't want to spoil any of this story, just know you will laugh hard, and you will cry terribly, but you will feel the love, the passion these two have for one another.I gave the story 4 stars, I really did fall in love with both Kane and Avery, and their families. I hope to see more about them from kindle Alexander.
