I am a high school sophomore who had to do a research project. This book had a lot of information and interesting facts about Amelia
Earhart. It covered from when she was a little child to when she began to fly and then to the time of her disappearance. I really enjoyed this book because it not only gave a lot of information about her but it also gave some pictures of important events in her life. I also like the fact that they included flying records, a map of her flight and a index just in case you needed to find something. There was one thing I didn't like and that was the fact that they gave too much background information about her family. I personally think that they needed to focus more on Amelia herself. This book is perfect if you want to get in dept with her family and their background information. Now that I have read this book, I feel like I understand more about her and her life. This is a perfect book for children and even teenagers to understand. Even though the book may not have answered all my questions, I would recommend this book to anyone that needs to know about Amelia herself, about her flights over the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, and her disappearance. It is also a fun book with lots of interesting pictures for you to look at.
