    disappointing and inconclusive

personally, i think this book was pathetic. while it may have been trying to prove the point that stereotyping is wrong and should not be used in cases such as amelia's, the material in the book flatly contradicts the lesson moss attempts to illustrate. i really enjoyed most of the other books in amelia's series, but this one was simply rather lame. mr. lambaste, amelia's least favorite teacher, places amelia in the same catergory as her sister cleo -- a troublemaker. while attempting to prove mr. lambaste wrong and show him that she is the polar opposite of her older sister, amelia stereotypes her peers as well. i would strongly advise against indulging in this piece of inconclusive work and seriously considering another selection.
