The Boxcar Children The amusement park mystery By Gertrude Chandler Warner The main characters of the book are four children named Benny, Henry, Jessie, and Violet Alden. The four children solve mysteries with their grandfather. In the book the Alden visited their cousins. While their in the car they see they see an amusement park that they want to go to. After they arrive they ask their cousins if they can go. They said they can go next day. So that day the Alden kids helped prepare dinner. The next day they went to the amusement park. When they get there they go to the horses at the merry go round. When they came back t6po the amusement park a horse was missing so the mystery began. This book took place during the summer in August at North Wood. This is a mystery story. I like this story because it has many clues that make it interesting. There is a Boxcar Children series with many interesting mysteries. I can relate to this story because I have to solve my own mysteries at home.
