Extremely effective training and techniques
Analysis of Shaolin Chin Na is one of the best martial arts books i have read in a long time. the book starts out slow and may sound confusing to the average reader but just give it a chance. after training comes the finger chin na section. at first i thought this seemed a bit ineffective and hard to use because when are you are fighting it is hard to access the finger area's. just bear with the book and continue through other chapters like wrist, elbow, shoulder, neck(which contains very effective seleeper holds and chokes), leg, etc. by the time you are finished with the book you realize that when the techniques are put on fast enough you have easy access and complete control over your opponent. this takes some memorizing and pratice to get that instinct down but once you can perfect a few moves you can use them over and over again with simple variations. and just incase you hurt your training partner there is a great chapter on treatment of injuries at the end to help you out. great book. Was this review helpful?
