    Balderdash!

The author conveniently ignores all the many times in history when prayer failed. For example, it wasn't prayer that liberated the Nazis death camps (a true miracle would have stopped them from being built).

I suggest people read a far better book on this subject: Candide by Voltaire. In particular the scene where the dishonest captain, who has just stolen all of Candide's gold, is drowned when pirates sink his ship. Candide rejoices in this demonstration of divine justice. "And who drowned the passengers?" Candide's companion asks.

Absolutely amazing book. I started to just read a few pages and found that I couldn't put it down. This is a must read for anyone interested in TRUE American history. I was amazed at the amount of research put into writing this book. The author has really done his research as i have verified accuracy of these stories.

I highly recommend this book as it is not only a great read but it is truly inspiring.

I tried to access the "1 Star" ratings but couldn't find them. I like to find out why others either liked or disliked a book. It looks as though only three people wrote ratings, not five. But the invisible two who wrote "1 Star" ratings, that were not accessible, really lowered the Average Rating. What's going on??? On purpose???
