Anderson Quote Cover in Vivid Pink

Love it so far!

I have a lot of experience with Nook covers, having owned the original Nook, a Nook Color and now the new Nook Simple Touch. I prefer a faux leather cover because the canvas and/or cloth ones get dirty very easily. The leather ones fold back easily as well without damaging the spine. I also like this cover for the Nook Color, but I do not like the railing system it has to hold it in place, so when I saw that this cover has the clip system to secure the Nook Simple Touch, I was sold. The cover for my NC has the clip system, I have had it for months now and the device stays secured and it looks so sleek and elegant, it is the best idea the B&N designers have come up with yet. I also like that the inside of the front flap is lined with the same faux leather that is on the outside so it stays clean on the inside too. The ones that only have the light suede or cloth/linen lining on the inside of the front flap tend to get dirty from holding the device. I only gave it four stars because the same cover for the Nook Color is priced the same as this even though this is much smaller so you would think it cost them less to manufacture. But maybe that is just the tradeoff of purchasing a cheaper device, you pay a premium for the accessories. They didn't have many covers available at the store, but from the ones I have seen online, I think this cover was the best choice for me.

???? I love it!!????

I initially received as a gift the Library Cover in Iris for my new nook. I was reluctant to keep it based on the reviews for all of the other fabric covers. But it was such a pretty color however I dropped one drip of water on it & the stain didn't fade. I then decided to get this cover. The color is much prettier in person. I love it. I was able to see all of the covers in the store & first was going to get a genuine leather cover but they were not as soft & pliable as this one. It folds back very nicely & feels so soft in my hand. I know these will stay in great shape because I have a green one for my 1st Nook.

Great Cover except for the inside

I received this cover for the new Nook. I had two of these for my Classic Nook. I love the feel of the cover. The reason why I have rated this with just two stars is because I received it today and the inside looks very dirty and is all marked up with black - it seerms as if the cream color inside is not a good choice for the black nook because all of the black color is rubbing off onto the cream. I am very disappointed.

A beautiful, functional cover.

I was suuuper skeptical about buying this cover because of the reviews of black from the nook rubbing off on it. But I saw it in the store and the pictures really don't do it any justice. The pink is beautiful and much more vivid in real life, and the many pockets on the inside aren't even pictured. The quote is clean and perfect. The nook fits securely inside the case, and the case is comfortable in the hand. It doesn't seem like the black is going to rub off the nook and onto the case because I'm very gentle with it, but to be safe I simply put the little cloth that it came with in between the nook and the cover when I close it and it's safe. It's really a beautiful cover and the material is perfect. I like it because it's not too slippery like it's going to fall out of my hands but not rough or sticky either. I highly recommend this case.

Doesn't hold up

The cover overall is very nice-looking. I haven't had any problems of the black Nook material rubbing off on the inside, but the spine is already weak, and I'm worried about how long it will stay together.

I am mostly disappointed by the clips that hold the Nook in place. My Nook lives in my bag, and I had wanted a cover to protect it. However, after only a few months, the clips do not hold the Nook in place. It keeps slipping out.

Does not hold up

I have had this cover for 3 1/2 months when I bought the Nook. The salesperson in the store insisted that it is a cover that holds up. The Nook is not my only reader. I have 4 Kindles and 2 Sonys, which means I am not constantly using it. When I am using it, it stays in my purse or work tote. After about 2 months, all the corners already wore off, exposing the creamy inner layer. The edges along the spine have also started wearing off. I was debating between this one and the leather ones, but decided on this one because it folds back nicely, not as stiff as the leather one, but now I regret buying this one for the same price as leather. I do not have any problem with the black rubbing off as some reviews indicated, however, the inside cream portion required a few cleaning with soap since it gets dirty when holding it fold back. I also do not have a problem with the clip. As far as for the 2 business card pockets as indicated, both of them do not fit a business card. It is shorter than a credit card. I do like the vibrant color a lot.

Love the cover itself but it's gets dirty so quickly. It's still going strong minus the fact it looks terrible.

Dirt Magnet

Had I written this review soon after I bought this, three months ago, I would have given a five star review. After carefully using this and keeping this in my clean purse, I can only say it has been a complete dirt magnet. I thought I'd give some feedback on how the product handles normal use, since covers are only brand new a short while. The soft synthetic of which it is made give it a great look and feel, but it wears terribly.

After four short months, it looks awful. Next time I'm purchasing a cover that wears better.

love it but one tiny problem

i got this for my new nook simple touch and i love it. the quote is so sweet and heartwarming. the only problem is that i put a bn gift card in the card holder and the pin # rubbed off on it. it will not come out. it is staying in great shape otherwise.

THIS IS A GREAT COVER

I LOVE THIS COVER, IT IS GREAT, NICE TO LOOK AT AND EFFECTIVE, MY NOOK STILL LOOKS BRAND NEW BECAUSE IT IS PROPERLY PROTECTED. THE ONLY THING IS THE INSIDE GETS PRETTY DIRTY FROM EVERY DAY READING AND HANDLEING OF THE NOOK. OTHERWISE IT IS GREAT!
