Highly Recommended
"The Animal Boogie" was about kids singing how the animals dance, how the bear goes shake shake and how all the animals boogie. I think this book is a really good one to read to little kids, it has a lot of colorful and bright colors that would grab the children's attention. I think the illustrator of this book could have drawn better pictures, not just stick figures. This book should have won a Caldecott award because of how attractive it is to the children. In my opinion this book is a really good book.

fantastic book
This book is super wonderful, my kiddos first experienced it at daycare and loved it so much they immediately picked it when they got BN.com gift cards. Highly recommended for kiddos & parents of all ages!!

The Animal Boogie, by Debbie Harter, great for any story time.
The Animal Boogie is an beautifully illustrated book that allows children to become involved in the story. I use it at story time nearly every week and the kids just love it. The author uses vivid illustrations that includes children from all walks of life. The kids love to shout out the animal from the clues and to act out the movement and of course to "Boogie". Great for Pre School, for a movement lesson, or to use for any animal theme in the classroom.

WONDERFUL!!!!
I read this book last year to my daughters' Pre-k class and asked all the children to participate as I read. Needless to say, they all loved it!!! I decided to pass the book on to their teacher. This year I've been asked to help makeup the reading schedule of parents for my daughters' Kindergarten class. Since I'm first to read, Guess what book I've chosen. 'The Animal Boogie'. This should get everyone excited for the coming year. This book has great Rhythm and Musical text which children love. Thank you!!

AWESOME!!!!
I have a one year old and a two year old who both love this book. I have to read it at least 5 times a day. The sing song rhythm and the colorful pictures are engaging for readers of any age.
