An exciting new contribution to the Animal Rights Movement!

Written with eloquence and compassion, Mary Lou Randour's Animal Grace does for the Animal Rights Movement what Gloria Steinham's and Betty Friedan's writing did for the Women's Movement. The consciousness-raising potential of the book is very exciting. I have given copies of Animal Grace to friends who are starting their journey of discovery. As it happened with me, my friends report a new-found awareness about how their actions affect the lives of animals and, with that awareness, an emerging sense of compassion. Animal Grace truly does open our hearts and minds, reconnects us to other animals, and by restoring our ties with the natural world enhances and guides our spiritual journey.

Animal Grace is a book worth reading

As a buddhist, amongst the the presepts I have taken is to affirm life, do not kill. Animal Grace elucidates this precept and takes it to logical conclusiins. Anyone who practices a spiritual path that includes not doing harm, such as Ahimsa, will find this book a worthwhile read.
