Recommended for animal lovers, and maybe for those that have little understanding of other living things

I cannot say that what Ms. Sheridan proposes is true. I can say I suspect much of it is. If you like to think, 'outside the box' this book is one that does that in spades.

    A compassionate case.

I can't say for sure that Kim's book convinces me of an afterlife - for animals or us (though I am convinced there is not a distinction between humans and animals) - but I am a tough nut. 'None are so blind as those who will not see.' Still, having lost my beloved pet recently, I cried and felt comforted that I was not 'crazy'. Kim makes an excellent case for something I do believe - animals do in fact have emotional lives just like us. Humans believe otherwise only so that the continued torture and abuse of animals can be deemed acceptable. If you lift up that veil...we are ugly indeed. Kim's compassion comes thru and we need more people like this in the world who are not afraid to be openly caring and compassionate of all life forms. Her descriptions of her animals and her relationship with them sounds much like mine though she has provided me with much needed education on the value of all. I find myself curious about all critters even rats...which I have no real understanding of.

A little different, but definately worth reading

I was skeptical for the first 300 pages, but then something touched me that started to change my whole way of thinking. I can't even remember what it was now, but it made me stop and review everything I just read. From that point on, it just made more and more sense. Whether or not you do believe in an afterlife or not, the impact of this book is much more than just about that. It's a cry out for more humane treatment of animals. Would you allow your beloved pet to be treated the same way as industrial farm animals? I think not.

    Wonderful stories

Wonderful stories and insights. Not sure I agree with everything she feels to be true, but food for thought!

    Great

This book remindes me of the grief I felt when my pet died years ago. Even those who do not believe on the afterlife will be convinced that every single event in this story is true.

    Fantastic book

I have always been interested in the after life for people, but didnt think it could be the same for animals.I guess I didn't think of it much.Kim has opened my eyes to the possibility that it is true for both ,we are all living souls in life and it only makes sense that that it would be the same in death wouldn't it be so nice to be reunited with our pets that we love and still miss everyday. Thanks Kim for an eye opener book you made me think about things that i normally wouldn't have when it comes to animals. I have always had love for them and always have treated them with kindness and respect, and I feel it will be more so now.keep up the good work you are do a great service to all animals .

    Recommended

It was a great book but a little to long. The stories were all about the same. The only thing the pets belonged to different people.

Highly Recommended if you have pets!

This book has help me and given me hope that our departed loved ones are in a happy place. I believe that they can come back to say goodbye, I have experienced this with my beloved cat.
