This odd book, expensively produced with some interesting vintage-style science illustrations, reads like a underground newspaper written for a small circle of nerdy friends who are completely taken with their senses of humor. The big problem is that it's simply not funny nor interesting on any level. The writing here is what is best described as "smirking jerk" humor. Charts and diagrams of nonsensical "science" information include items like a table entitled "Match the Animal of the Ocean with the Kind of Food They Eat" with lettered options such as "Fruitrolls", "Mountain Dew and Snackwell's cream filled Cookies" and (seriously) "White People Dressed as Native Americans". Nyuck, nyuck...yuck.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
The sales rank, #178583, seems quite high for a book that offers nothing to anyone except for annoying tedium. It's a mind-numbing collection of nonsense, suitable for pulping.
