    New, Best, Classic

This album has no track that I would move to another slot or leave out, and there are, maybe, 3 other albums I own that I feel have been crafted so perfectly. Trance out to this music, it draws you in; just listen and it entertains your brain with real thoughts. Together, the tracks create a music theme and a subject theme. It's a highmark for trance. All the great observations of your other reviewers are right on, too. So glad I bought this album. Everytime I listen, the impact is the same.

    Oakenfold In Another World

There's a bullet in Paul's gun alright on this two CD-set, that, after only two years on the market, screams classic. The world's number one rated DJ takes on a voyage once agian, except this time, to a whole new world of sound. This CD-set, like all of his sets, is a whole different sound than what Oakenfold has done in the past. Every track on the album has importance to the overall feel of the album, and comes off leaving you in a state of trance and wondering how in the world he can make the music command that kind of emmotion from you. Oakenfold starts off the album slow and mellow, but quickly turns up the pace. The next two hours of music is an emmotional rollercoaster, as he hits you with powerful remixes of "Bullet In A Gun", "North Sky", "Flesh", and "Piledriver" to name a few. Paul's "filler" songs are not mearly filler songs, but are very important to the over all feel of the album. No beat is misplaced by this master of the turntables. I stumbled onto this album thanks to a friend that i had personally recommended Oakenfold to two years ago. Today I can clearly say that it is the most played album out of my entire collection. People who do not even like trance have found that they adore "Another World" This album is a must have for any Trance, Techno, House, or just straight Oakenfold fans.

    Makes Zepplin Danceable

I've always like Oakenfold's mixes, but this collection is just brilliant. These two cds are equally at home on the dancefloor or in your walkman while you wander aimlessly through a cold, darkened city (sorry, it's winter). HIs brilliance is displayed when he strips ''Babe I'm leaving you'' to its bare essentials, then rebuilds it, with the vocals and a pulsating beat. He gives a reverential treatment to ''Song of the Siren,'' and even if you don't think you're into the whole dance/trance thing, if you ever were a disciple of This Mortal Coil/Cocteau Twins, hearing this song once here will give you reason enough to buy the cd.

    excellent

I stumbled across these CDs at book/music store's music listening sations. I love it. It moves nicely between dance and trance. Most pure dance CDs have this constant drum beat that NEVER stops. Don't get me wrong, most songs have an underlying drum beat, but he mixes up everything very nicely.
