There are many books out there that promise insights so powerful that they will change your life. The Answer is a book that not only promises that, but also delivers on it. As the book itself states, this is not merely 'pop psychology' - it is something much more. This is an unofficial follow-up book to the wildly popular DVD 'The Secret'. John Assaraf, one of the participants in 'The Secret' - you will remember him as the likable vision board guy - co-wrote this book, and he applies his strategies for manifesting his own visions to this book. It is a welcome follow-up - though I enjoyed and was inspired by The Secret, I found its substance a bit lacking at times, especially when it told you that 'thoughts become things' and showed a kid wishing for a bike, then one magically appearing. That seemed too simplistic and silly; there is much more to it, of course. The Answer tells you how to actually go about successfully manifesting your carefully thought out visions in very detailed terms through a multi-pronged approach.

I definitely recommend The Answer if you are truly ready to make quantum leaps in your life and in your business. You will need to put in your own effort, daily effort in fact, to truly effect positive, lasting change in your life. This is not just something you can read and reflect on, that will magically improve your circumstances through osmosis. That's actually the great thing about it, we all intuitively know that to create the life we seek, we can't just read a book or watch a DVD and have it happen for us, we will need to work for it, and apply our solid, consistent efforts to gain the best possible result - it's not about working harder, it's about working smarter. The Answer imparts utterly fascinating and important knowledge about quantum physics and neuroscience, and shows you how to tap into these powerful things to bring about the vision you have for you life. Using that knowledge, you will then need to closely examine your goals and break them down into useful, measurable, quantifiable elements. The book will help you clear up any gray areas that might have existed and overcome any roadblocks, real or imagined, conscious or not, and get you to the point of three very important things - crystal clear clarity about what you are aiming to achieve, laser-sighted focus and sustained, well-placed effort.

The strategies in The Answer can be applied to absolutely any business or creative endeavor - you do the work to personalize the techniques to suit your business, life and goals. No one knows your aspirations like you do, after all. It doesn't just provide simplistic and rehashed 'motivation-speak' that we have all heard a thousand times, it gives you concrete techniques and deep, proven knowledge to back up what it's teaching. I encourage anyone who needs some inspiration in their lives, and/or to kick things up a notch in their business or creative activities to read The Answer, do all of the exercises, and make the changes it recommends in your life. To me, intuitively, it makes a lot of sense. I am implementing these things myself. There is also a line near the end of the book that I found especially meaningful, and in my opinion, is really at the heart of the passions we pursue:

"The real purpose of building your dream business is to express and support the person you are in the process of becoming."

The best book for I have read to give insight to why you are developing you business, how to develope your business and the changes you must impliment in thinking and strategies for exploding your business.
The area where most businesses fail is discussed in a way that you can recognize and change personal behavior to overcome these challenges.

Business or Life? This is a MUST Read Book for Success!

"The Answer" by John Assaraf & Murray Smith is such a refreshing surprise reading for a "business" book. I was caught totally off guard as the descriptions of the book don't do it justice at all.

I was attracted to this book, (no pun intended), by the reputation of the authors, my personal development journey and reading about the Law of Attraction, other Laws of the Universe, and their applications to my life and business. Totally well worth the investment of time, energy, and cost.

This very attractively presented book consist of 303 well written pages, broken into 15 very digestible chapters, including four excellent Appendix's which will impress and surprise you.

The content of this book deals directly with the application of the different Laws of the Universe, most importantly in your life and expanding to their relationship in your business. The principles shared with the reader are applicable to anyone on a personal development journey involving business or not. For someone even remotely interested in their own business or career, this book is REQUIRED reading. I can not emphasis this enough.

I will enjoy reading this book over again as I'm positive I did not absorb the many golden nuggets shared by the authors. Make time for this book in your life and experience the revelations provided through proven application in life and not theory. You will be a better person as a result.

The book is along the lines of much that we have been reading over the last couple of years. Good ideas and excellent personal anecdotes.

We picked this book up because of some of the information that was in preliminary readings. We have two copies along with the audio version so we can get the maximum impact of the material. Good personal stories that illustrate the principles that are contained in the book. It does require that you read with an open mind, especially when the relationship with quantum physics and the "real world" are coupled together. It is consistent with our current view of the world but for some folks it will be a stretch. This will not assimilate easily into an existing cognitive or zeitgeist schema but rather will contribute to the development of a new level of accommodation. Highly recommended!

The Answer provided me with the answers to questions I did not even realize I had.

This is a compelling, innovative, well organized, relevant, and very useful book. I was motivated and encouraged to change my thoughts, my beliefs, and consequently my reality. I recommend this book to those who are serious about growing -- their business, their ministry, and their future.

The authors successfully illustrated so many truths, I also purchased their audio book so I would not forget the important points they brought up. I am currently listening to it in my car. EXCELLENT!

Absolutely Brilliant!

Mr. Assaraf and Mr. Smith have written a book that is worthy of being placed next to the classic 'Think and Grow Rich'. The first half of the book focuses on the 'be' part of the 'be-do-have' equation of success. The second half provides fantastic real world information to become a successful entrepreneur. This book is a must read for anyone who desires making a real change in their life.

Being an self employed person, this book is just what I needed! Full of great information to apply NOW to change your business for the better. Great at explaining 'behind the scenes' about why it works.

I started reading this book last night, and by the fourth chapter I was ready to throw it out the window... But I have enough self-control that I'm going to return it instead :-) The book is 100% based on the idea that your thoughts (LITERALLY!) can create anything. Some strange science experiments are cited as proof for this theory. The first 4 chapters were all reasons why, scientifically, this theory could be true. The rest of the book looks to hinge on how you can make your business better by literally creating it in your mind. This book is wayyyy out there and not my style at all. I was looking for a business book, not some scientific theory book that tries to relate a theory to business. All in all, this book honestly doesn't belong in the business/finance section... Its like selling a Brittany Spears album in a Death/Metal underground record store.
