I picked this up on vinyl almost 35 years ago and then bought the CD to test out my first system a few years ago. Miller was part of the San Francisco scene of the 60s. His music was more disciplined than most of the artists of the genre and his guitar playing was terse and tasteful. However, the tracks here are not as catchy as the recordings he made in his 1974-78 heyday.Boz Scaggs is on a few of the tracks and Paul McCartney guests on My Dark Hour but the only way you can tell is by the liner notes.Interesting but not compelling music. Was this review helpful?
