War and the deaths of loved ones have changed Ex-marine Reno Wilder’s attitude. Now this military man is ready to settle down into a calmer life. So when Sweet is chosen as a destination for a makeover TV show, he’s less than pleased about the potential disruption to his routine.

Headstrong show host and designer Charlotte Brooks arrives in Sweet ready to change everything, including Reno. Locked in a face-off neither saw coming, will they be able to find common ground and realize that a life together could be sexy…and also very sweet?

This book was amazing. Not only did Candis Terry bring light into darkness with how Reno and Charlotte's relationship grows but also with other characters in this book. This series is looks like it will be pulling your heartstrings bringing you to tears and then laughter and enjoyment at other moments. As the first book of the Sweet, Texas series you know the others to come will be just as good and you'll be seeing in the future what happens to these two. The pace and flow of this book was just fantastic and it kept you interested page after page. Its these genres of books that I positively love to read and get me hooked.

    Another Winner!

Terrific author with a great sense of humor... Writes about fiesty women and handsome cowboys... Loved the book and read it quickly cause I couldn't put it down... Can't wait for the next book and hope to read more of Charli and Reno... When all the fun was done it was sobering to think about the story and realize what experiences of our youth have to do with the people we become... Ms Terry writes a beautiful book - all will enjoy... Characters are beautifully drawn and the story is very well told...

I really loved it as soon as I started it. It is a quick, fun, sweet read. Did I say fun? This is a Beach read for sure and I do look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series...I have to find out what the rest of the brothers are up to! If you are looking for a deep, intellectual kind of book this is not for you...but there are plenty of those out there...this one is pure love and fun and tortured hero...So...
    It's a 4.5
Just a quick note...I did receive this book from Avon as I am an Avon Addict. Hoever, Avon did not ask for this review or influence my review in any way!
    Thank you

Loved Anything But Sweet. Small town living in Sweet, Texas. The characters of Reno and Charli have sparks flying but takes time for the romance to fire up. Loved the secondary characters, many giggles from me on their antics. I can see many more stories coming out of Sweet Texas.
