Exciting addition to the Left behind series

The latest hot spot in the world is the border between Turkey and Syria and the United Nations has asked United States President Fitzhugh to send troops there to keep hostilities from turning deadly. American soldiers are at the front lines in Turkey hoping their presence is enough to deter Syria from attacking but those hopes ends with a Syrian attack. Sergeant Samuel Adams ¿Goose¿ Gander is at the battle¿s front lines when many of the soldiers in his command vanish.
At Fort Benning, Georgia, Goose¿s wife Megan tries to talk a suicidal teen out of jumping. She grabs hold of him but is not strong enough to stop his fall, but the only thing that is on the sidewalk is his personal effects. Other people disappeared on the base at the same time.
While Goose and Megan fight different wars on different fronts, they remain strong for the people who depend on them. People all across the world choose sides in the coming Tribulation.
Fans of the Left Behind series will definitely want to read APOCALYPSE DAWN a look at the actions of the military during the Tribulation times. Much of the action centers around Goose as he wrestles with the questions of faith despite what he has seen and others have witnessed on the battlefield. Mel Odom¿s military thriller is fast paced, full of action yet doesn¿t shortchange readers on character development. Reader will take Megan and Goose into their hearts and eagerly await the next book in this series to see what happens next to these special characters.
Harriet Klausner

    Read it!

I was so delighted to find these books. They gave me a differing viewpoint of the "left Behind" stories.

    Stunning, Absolutely Amazing

I am at a loss for words. This book was so awesome, I couldn't put it down. Having never read the actual Left Behind Series, I will definitely be heading to my local library to do so. This book has fast paced action in a world where the Rapture is happening. I fell in love with all of the characters and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Highly recommended!

    AMAZING!!!!!

I am surprised this is a free book. It is definitely a worthwhile read no matter the cost. If you have a military background or interested in the military PLUS enjoy Christian fiction then you must read this book. Great writing. I like it better than the original Left Behind series. A+

    very good

I loved the Left Behind series and this was my second attempt at this book. I got through it this time, but I still felt it was a little too disjointed for my taste. The characters were great and I have to read the next one to find out about Joey if nothing else!

    Outstanding!

Having read the entire series on paperback, I'm surprised to find this as a free Nookbook. I highly recommend the entire series to anyone interested in end-times fiction.

    Great Christian/ military story

Mel has done a superb job of incorporating his story with the Left Behind series. It is a refreshing look at another side of the story. His characters are well thought out. The military angles and information is very good. Even a lay person can understand the military action. I have reread each book 4 times and await the next one. I hope in the near future, Mel will be allowed to continue with the series.

    Vividly Told

This entire book, cover to cover was gripping. Personally, I found myself on the edge of my seat the entire time, desparate to read the next page. Mel Odom has given new life to the topic of the End Times and Rapture. God is an active part of the entire story. It is good to know that someone still believes and is using the pen to spread the Word of God. Remember Jesus love you.

For all believers and non-believers alike.

An excellent read for all military and ex-military. Once you start it you won't want to put it down. This series looks to be every bit as good as the Left Behind Series and I can't wait for the next installment

    Absolutely Fabulous

This was a fabulous read and truly in the same class as the Left Behind series. I did get confused at times by the military jargon and acronyms. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Left Behind.
