Change your Be-attitudes about what it takes to be a Christian

This book shows us what the 'Sermon on the Mount' was really saying about our lives and how the beatitudes serve to clarify the steps we need to take to turn our lives around...brilliant!

Simple and compelling writing - read for a layman's understanding of scripture.

We're using this book as the context for Bible study. Lucado's writing is written in everyday terms, with memorable stories and examples that allow the reader (me) to understand the Bible as it relates to me and my world today.

    Highly readable

Max Lucado has a way of bringing Biblical principles to life. A good book if you want to reflect on your relationships with God. Plan to use this with my Sunday school class because I didn't realize that each Beatitude fell in line behind the one before it. Good food for thought.

    'Blessed are those...'.......who read Lucado

I thought I had understood the beatitudes until I read Lucado's insights. They helped me better comprehend heaven's litmus test for a genuine spiritual walk; and how to avoid so many of the counterfeits offering their own brand of 'peace'.

    Spiritually Uplifting & Entertaining

I usually have some trouble understanding biblical context and that is where Max Lacado proves to be invaluable. He provides the clarity and insight into scripture such as the Beatitudes that inspires, delights, and leaves me wanting more Lacado. A must read.
