A great book! Definitely a good read!
I really enjoyed this book! I loved all the action in it and I thought the fact that it focused on God was really cool! I would suggest this book to anyone who is interested in Revelation and who wants to find a clean book with some action in it! I would not suggest this book to a less mature reader. It can be graphic.

(Almost) Favorite Book in the Series!
I love this book. It's not only about everything leading up to the Battle of Armageddon but, to me, it's Chloe's Book. Pretty early into the book, she's captured by the GC. The testimony she upholds as she's going through unimagineable trials and the temptations to save herself and Kenny is amazing! The way she deals with everything thrown at her speaks to me as a wife and mother. What would I do, if I were in the same situation? I pray I'd be just like her. This is my favorite book in the Left Behind series, right behind "Glorious Appearing" which is the most amazing in the series. These 2 books make the very perfect ending to Left Behind, and I highly recommend them.

So close
One year left to go of the Tribulation....and Armageddon (The Cosmic Battle of the Ages) is coming.

When we left off in "The Remnant", New Babylon (the Antichrist's home base) was suffering from a plague of darkness. Because of this, Rayford and Abdullah are more easily able to get Chang out of New Babylon. Buck and Chloe, along with Kenny (now four) and some of the other Tribulation Force members are in a safe house in San Diego. After they see some GC nosing around, eventually Chloe's curiousity gets the best of her and she goes out of the compound to investigate - and is captured. Those at Petra continue to thrive; some of our long time friends are seriously injured, even killed; everyone is gearing up for the great battle.....we are left with a cliffhanger - who will survive and make it to the Glorious Appearing?
Not gonna lie....I got a little emotional reading this one. Looking forward to number 12! -

Battle of the Ages
This eleventh book in the best-selling Left Behind starts with the scattered members of the Trib Force trying to get their tattered members gathered in the New Babylon of the Middle East. As the great Armageddon draws near, friendships who were thought to be safe are torn, and some safe houses and no longer safe. The millions who still refuse Christ suffer physically unimaginable boils and pain, even as Tsion continues to preach of God's hand desiring those to come to Him. Then It has come. Horsemen and weapons all advance as all of the human race fear for their lives and to be left standing at the end. This was a book I reviewed for Tyndale House Publishers.

Armageddon
With New Babylon now shrouded in total darkness only believers can see leaving unbelievers with blinded eyes. A member of the tribulation force is taken into custody and the future of the other members seems questionable. Tsion and Buck journey to Jerusalem as the Jewish people prepare for the greatest battle the world has ever faced. Chang and Naomi have become closer. The world is coming to a climactic conclusion as the antichrist steps up his massive destruction.

With love found and great loss this is one of the most tense and nonstop yet in the series yet also one of the saddest. More deaths have unfolded leaving the tribulation force with less members to fight Carpathia and his followers.
This is my favorite in the series to date and I look forward with mixed feelings to the last book. I have really gotten attached to these characters and although I cannot wait to see what happens in the final book I really do not want it to end. Excellent character development and realistic scene as well as dialogue makes this one one that I will reread in the near future. Just cannot seem to get enough of this series and find that it is so relevant to today's world and current events. -
No One Is Safe! A Gripping Emotional Thriller
Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins in their book "Armageddon" Book Eleven in the Left Behind series published by Tyndale House Publishers brings us The Cosmic Battle of the Ages.

Get ready for a thrill ride we are one book away from the conclusion of this series and the authors ratchet up the suspense to its highest height. All eyes are on the Middle East as Nicolae, the antichrist, prepares to do battle against those who would oppose him. One of the Tribulation Force is captured with no hope for rescue and both Captain Rayford Steele and Buck Williams are seriously wounded.
In addition to all this the world has been through the tribulation, the last seven years before the triumphal return of Jesus. During this time God has used supernatural events to urge mankind to turn to Him and accept Him or face an eternity apart from Him. There were those that did accept God and those that chose the mark of the beast instead. Nobody is undeclared. That is the purpose of these books to show how terrible this last time will be and to see who will accept God now rather than wait until later and suffer through tribulation.
Dr. LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins provide a fictional background for the real events that the final book of The Bible, Revelation, speak about: the end times. The Biblical accuracy in"Armageddon" is flawless and the story is a page turning thriller. There are wonderful themes: salvation, faith in what you cannot see and who is in charge despite appearances to the contrary. I do not recommend starting this book late at night because it will cost you sleep as you will not want to put it down. Mr. Jenkins is an excellent writer and knows how to twist your nerve endings as he tightens the suspense. I am looking forward to book twelve in this series.

Armageddon
In Armageddon, the eleventh book in the Left Behind Series, the Antichrist prepares to launch all the forces and technology of earth against the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The people of the world who have rejected their Creator are on the brink of destroying all He has made, including themselves.

As the novel begins, the whole world is in the dark, both metaphorically and literally. The Trib Force uses this judgment to operate undercover. Though they know what the Bible says about what is to come, they can't stand idly by and watch. They must prepare to face the Global Community Forces on the battle field and let come what may.
During this installment, some beloved characters are martyred. So close to the time when Christ will return again, they must say good-bye to each other--and to us. Those scenes are very affecting. (I couldn't help but think of modern day martyrs who are suffering for their Lord, even as I write this.) I loved it when God dispatched His angels to make appearances at mark application and guillotine sites for all to see these saints ushered into glory. I hope this is accurate. But if not, one thing I know, the God of mercy will always make a way to encourage His children when they need Him most.
In one fascinating scene towards the end of the book, Satan speaks through Carpathia to relate the history of mankind on earth from his perspective--reminding me a bit of Paradise Lost. He denies creation, shares how easy it was for him to introduce sin into the world, and discusses his attempts to eliminate the Jewish people. Of course, by this point in futuristic history, the other world leaders have no problem accepting his nefarious plan. Their complicity brought to mind a verse from Isaiah 5, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." Amen! -

This book is as exciting as any of the others, plain and simple, if you have read the previous ten then you probably have no need to read this

review. The books are that darn good that you can't stop reading them.
The imagery in this book is what makes it so good. Just picturing seeing the horses of the Apocalypse riding by you - there would be no words.
There will be no denying Christ in the end days. The bible references continue in this book and I feel the book enhances the scripture and
stays with it. I love the writing because it makes it real and the situations are believeable. The characters are well developed by this time
if you have read the series all the way through. I love the story line and it is worth the read. With Christ's return eagerly awaited,
Tribulation Force member face the greatest trials thus far in the tribulation. In this book, we see major changes in the main characters.
It is difficult to say who will survive until the Glorious Appearing. As the Antichrist's armies mass on the plains of Meggido, the tension
is as finger-biting level. This book is definitely one of my favorites of the series. I just love how Dr. LaHaye and Mr. Jenkins take so much
scripture and turn it into a very fascinating fictional story that is highly based on truth.I loved this series, the books are exciting and
are very quick reads. Pick up the first one, i'll bet you can't put them down after that! -

Armageddon
This book of the series details the final battle of the devil to keep control before Christ comes. There is some amazing imagery in this book and reading the scriptures you read about the horses of the Apocalypse riding across the earth. In this book you actually see them with the characters and feel their breathe on your face as they encounter them riding right before their eyes. All of these books are good and this is one of my favorites. Read it to learn about the word of God.

Excellent Reading
Excellent book! I read it on my Nook it 2 days! Armageddon brought the Book of Revelation to life and helped me understand much of the symbolism there. Among many of my Christian friends and even my friends of different religions it created a lively discussion with many questions being answered between all faiths.

best book ever
This is one of the best books I have ever read! Although there are a few dry spots, the excitment of what is yet to come keeps me reading. With amazing plot schemes, and believable characters, this book is one of the best ones in the series! WIth much action and suspension, it is a great investment. I cant wait to finish this series and read more from these authors. Dont listen to the other critics, these books are amazing! I gave it five stars and would double that number if given the oppurtunity. I read about two books from this series a day. Once I opened the book I couldnt put it down. They were so good. KEEP READING!

An outstanding book.
This is a great book. I was really disappointed at the Remnant. They could have summed it up in one chapter and put it at the beginning of this book. This was a great book. They took out half of the preaching and replaced it with action. They went back and forth between stories to keep you glued to the book. The only problem was at the end it was set up for a perfect ending but now they have a book 12. Something big better happen in book 12.

Spetacular masterpiece!
I agree with most of the other reviews about this book. This book left me spellbound and breathless. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down! I put myself on a waiting list for the next book within an hour of finishing Armageddon.
