Great idea and gameplay, but annoying glitches

This game looks decent and plays very nicely. It includes finely tunable hyzers and anhyzers, challenging wind, and a great power gauge, once you get used to it. The "practice" mode, or hole in one challenge, requires slightly different technique than the courses do, but both modes are brilliant once you master their techniques. The different teeboxes work really well at changing the difficulty of each course. Overall, the gameplay is excellent.

Unfortunately, there are some serious glitches that can't be overlooked. Another person has already mentioned that in some places, the disc will get caught in an endless loop and your score will shoot higher until you can react quick enough to throw the disc as soon as it appears. I experienced this once: the disc kept dropping through the surroundings an instant after it appeared for the shot. As a result, it kept falling "out of bounds" and wasting a stroke each time (Incidentally, there is no penalty for out of bounds throws, which I found odd. If your first throw goes off the cliff, your next throw will be your second, rather than your third. Plus, if it catches the edge of the ground before it falls, that is where you throw from next.).

But the most annoying glitch happens on the second two courses. After you finish 18, the game freezes. Completely. The only solution I found was archiving and unarchiving the app, which wipes out your records in-game. This crash is extremely inconvenient, as it forces you to either a) content yourself with archiving and unarchiving constantly, or b) only play the first course.

So overall, this game is a great disc golf game, but the glitches completely ruin the fun (True rating: 3.5 stars)

    Good Game but has Glitch

A fun game and love disk golf but there is a bad glitch that must be fixed. In tournament mode on several holes it gets stuck in a loop and your score skyrockets. Don't buy until fixed!
