The Art of Full Moon is a must for any fan of Arina Tanemura. I

The Art of Full Moon is a must for any fan of Arina Tanemura. I absolutely love this gorgeous art book. Tanemura's art in insanely detailed (especially the hair!). Other than art from Full Moon this book contains some illustrations from Jeanne, Kyoko, ION, Short-Tempered Melancholic, and Ginyu Meika. The book also comes with a double-sided pull out poster in the back which features the band ROUTE:L on one side and Mitsuki and the three shinigami on the other. Underneath the removable paper cover is a sketch of Mitsuki on the front and a Takuto sketch on the back.
The reason I gave four instead of five stars is because of how the book is laid out. Some of the comments are right up against the spine and are hard to read. Also, many of the images are small. Since Tanemura's art is so incredibly detailed I was looking forward to seeing all of the images in their 9 by 12 inch glory. I was disappointed that their can up to five unrelated images on one page and some overlap, which annoys me because I would like to see the entire image. Nonetheless, if you are a fan of Arina Tanemura, you should definitely get this art book.

    Beautiful!

I pre-ordered this book when it first came out in 2008 and still look through it. She has reached the pinnacle of her art and found her style, and it shows in the artbook. The two-sided poster is really cute that it comes with and on one side, it features the three shinigamis and Mitsuki. Her artwork always makes me smile.
