I bought this deck a long time ago at Barnes and Noble. I was actually looking for a bigger tarot deck and a lady went back to the storage room and brought me this deck. I had a connection when holding onto this deck. I use this deck almost all the time and I'm in love with it. Wasn't aware that it came with a silk cloth cause the box that I got them in was a bit different. But I ended up going to my local witchy shop and bought a tarot box for it. Overall, I'm glad that I bought it.

Don't Let it Lie to you

When i bought this deck as a gift for a friend who was just starting the art of divination through the Cards, both of us were sorely disappointed. For one, the illustrations on the deck are not very descriptive of the meaning of the cards, they do not even include reversals, and the book is a simple, kinder-gardener's approach to Tarot. The set is not even what it is marketed as- there is NO silk cloth in the package on which to do readings upon. Such was the selling point for me to buy this particular set over any others for my dear friend, and i was very much angered by the fact that the set lied, was short-coming in its features, and was generally a terrible disappointment. i do not recommend this set for anyone unless they are spooked by the occult, you hate them, and you want to give them a useless gift. For one, they will become paranoid that someone has sent them something they are uneasy around, and even if they decide to turn a bad thing into a good one by trying to use the set to learn Tarot, they won't be able to because the set goes into about as much detail as a dog would explaining the movements of the Andromeda starsystem. Do not buy this for any of it's "good features"; it is better off used as prank. You will have more fun, entertainment and education from the book recommended below, by knowing things that make you sound smart to the stupid, overambitious to the intelligent.

Feels right but something is missing

I am new at tarot reading and this is my first deck (besides one that my great aunt left to me, that I do not know how to use). Anyway, I feel that the explanations for what the cards mean are clear. However, I was confused about what an upright vs. a reversed meaning, meant. That was not explained clearly enough. Otherwise, I feel connected to the deck and I am doing what it says about sleeping with it under my pillow. But I have to agree with the other reviewer that said another book is needed for clarity.

    ok, but not perfect

i liked the package deal but the book does not explain a whole lot. you would need another book to explain all the needed details.
