    Beautiful photos!

For years, I avoided reading Town and Country because of it's uber-rich lifestyle. However, age and time have tempered me, and it's a monthly delight to see how the more fortunate among us live. This book will not disappoint - it contains magnificent photography of real people's homes. It is a true feast for the eyes!

More a HOMEOWNER'S LIFESTYLE book than a decor book

Don't expect to garner a lot of interior design inspiration from this book so much as a peek into the lives of the homeowners, their lifestyles & interests. All 30 were previously portrayed in the magazine at some point over the last decade; this book simply delves into more detail, and often not necessarily about the home's interior as you would expect. Content varied from featured 'home' to featured 'home.' It's actually quite a lesson though and a very good read, just not so much an interior design/inspiration book. The photography isn't as lavish or extensive as you might expect from a $60 book or a lifestyle publication such as T&C (I don't read T&C myself since it's geared toward women, but I am familiar w/it & know that it's full of lush photography). Overall it is a good addition to your library or as a gift, especially at the online member price! :)
