Ichiro In this book, Ichiro is a Japanese player that played for 10 years in Japan and then he became a free agent. He then went and played for the Seattle Mariners. There he collected 5 Rookie of the month awards, a Rookie of the year award, a Golden Glove, most hits, a batting title, Silver Slugger, and MVP award. He lead his team to tie the record of most hits and also lead his team to the play offs. I recommend this book because it is full of details about Ichiro. This story is great if you want to learn about baseball. It names a lot of important awards and talks about how the statistics work. It also talks about a couple of the best players in the world. This book is a great Biography. It has a lot of details. One example is that a Japanese newspaper offered two million dollars for a picture of Ichiro in the locker room! It is an awesome sports tale. It talks about sports dreams, statistics, and adventure. Ichiro always dreamed to be in the Major Leagues. He also reached a .600 batting average in the playoffs. This book will keep you excited and on the edge of your seat. I recommend this book especially if you like sports.
