Failure Helps to Shape A Better Attitude

This is a great book on how to have a better attitude toward a successful life! What I liked the most about the book is how Maxwell talks about failure. He says that you have to have a positive attitude toward failure. It's just part of becoming successful. Many people who are successful today have failed at some point in their life.

    Attitude is Everything

There are many things in life we can't change. However, our attitude about those things can change. John C. Maxwell does an excellent job of describing why we need to have a positive attitude and how we can develop one within ourselves. This is a great book. I read it on New Year's Day. What an awesome way to start a new year.

John Maxwell's 101 series of books can be summed up thusly: Take

John Maxwell's 101 series of books can be summed up thusly: Take the considerable knowledge that Maxwell has accumulated over his decades long search for solid leadership principles, put it down in a "Reader's Digest" format, and divide it up into several categories. The category for "Attitude 101" is not surprisingly, attitude. The book has concise high-level easy to read summaries of how the proper attitude can make you a better leader and make you more successful. The most valuable section of the book is how to view and address failure. Maxwell's book "Failing Forward" provides the best discussion on this topic, but this discussion of failure, how to view it and how to move forward from it is extremely useful to anyone who is looking for an attitude boost. Attitude 101 can be read easily over a couple of lunch hours and sets the stage for you to more fully explore the topic on your own. A brief book, but packed with usable tips and techniques to measurably improve anyone's attitude.

    Thoughts give you direction

This is a good book to stress the importance of attitude. Thoughts are creative, and because we are doing it, it's best to optimize.
