    I Also Recommend:

    A Fine Read

The Aware, by Glenda Larke, is a fine read. I bought this series after reading her other works; The Last Stormlord (which is Great), and her other series, The Mirage Makers (which includes The Heart of the Mirage, The Shadow of Tyr, and The Song of the Shiver Barrens, which are all phenomenal!) The Aware was her first published novel, and it shows. Yes, it is a good book, and I am currently reading Gilfeather, the next in this series, but compared to her other books, this one was only so-so. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something new to read, but I would recommend her other works before I would recommend this one.

Aware - New and Exciting evolutions of good and evil

The Aware - in this story there IS black and white - but the white is not pure. The author creates a comfortable character portrayal of 'good' protagonists who, like most of us, have numerous flaws, but unlike most, have a clear sense of purpose and unyielding tenacity to fulfill those purposes. The writing is visual and the story well written with good character and plot developments. An easy, enjoyable read. I look forward to more from this author.
