    Racing fan

This book will give you a little idea of what Bill and his family did in the 80's to be successful in NASCAR. It is written just like you were sitting in Bill's living room and listening to him talk about his racing career.

    Speechless & Impressive

The book "Awsome Bill from Dawsonville-My life in NASCAR"is a super-impressive and great book, regardless if you are a NASCAR/Motorracing-Fan or not. As in Europe the Formula 1-Guys are regarded as one of the most impressive motorracing-personalities, for me it's NASCAR;unfortunately books about NASCAR/Racing in America are nearly impossible to get in Europe,so I am extremely happy when travelling to America to find always a Barnes & Noble-Store close to my hotel with a great selection of motorracing/NASCAR-Books in their romantic-styled showrooms, and I highly recommend this phantastic book of Chris Millard & Bill Elliott!

Detailed and Objectionable Backscenes View of Nascar

Bill Elliott, voted most popular driver 14 times (til he pulled his hat from the voting), provides a behind the scenes of the 'do-no-wrong' Nascar dynasty, down-to-earth portrayals of the drivers of the 70's, 80's, and 90's, in a tell-all autobiography. Describes the infamous 'Pass in the Grass' by the late Dale Earnhardt, safety problems that have plagued Nascar, restrictor plates, Tim Richmond, and all of the other headlines of yesteryear. Awesome book from an awesome driver... hope Mark, Terry, Rusty, and others provide insight like this!
