Axiom Man rises to the occasion
Axiom Man, by A. P. Fuchs is fantastic diversion from most mainstream fiction. Gabriel, basically your ¿no-body-ever-notices-me¿ guy has been given some gifts. Not ordinary gifts, but the ability to fly, impressive strength, sharp mind and the most amazing blue eyes you'd ever want to see (or not see as the case may be). Just as Superman flew over Metropolis in the 1930s and continues to be a favorite of many, Axiom Man flies over a Canadian metropolis trying to right wrongs, prevent harm and save lives. This non-stop novel that could easily be made into a wonderful graphic novel or even a movie, has you guessing every step of the way. You know who the hero is, you know who the villain is, but you never are quite sure how things are going to work themselves out. A. P. Fuchs brings to life a wonderfully imaginative hero we can all relate to, from his wish to do good and his apparent failures, to a romance that seems destined never to get off the ground. If you're looking for something different, something truly creative, yet filled with action, look no further. Axiom Man is the end of your search. Was this review helpful?
